Tuna Fudge: Too Disgusting to Turn Down

I gave this recipe, and other equally gross combinations, a try after deciding that I can no longer afford hundreds of dollars per month worth of training treats for my board and trains. Hot dogs were my go to instead, but there are only so many that you can feed a dog before reaching unhealthy territory and there are just some days that you just don’t want to touch hot dogs.

These are quick to make, not terribly smelly (after they’re cooked), easy to break apart, and most dogs love them. Who could ask for more?

Below is a recipe that you can screenshot and print or copy to your phone. Keep it handy, because you’ll probably want to make them again!

Just a heads up- you can overcook them heavily before they’re unsalvageable. You can also add or adjust the flour ratios to your [dog’s] texture preference or substitute with all purpose flour, it’s a pretty flexible recipe. I typically eye ball everything. You can freeze what you won’t use this week and refrigerate what you won’t use today.
